My notebook is a pavilion g7-1116sg with win7. I get a connection via ethernet, but no longer wi-fi. The HP-Connection manager tells me: Wifi: deactivated by mobilitycenter (or similar - my system speaks German) But the mobilitycenter has no button for wifi. When I try to activate it, it stays nevertheless deactivated. There a no conflicts in the device-manager. I tried to fix the problem with no effect on wi-fi - by updating the wlan-driver and the bios . - by system recovery (last entry: a windows update) Can anybody help me? Thanks a lot!
