I tried this option as I was instructed by the call center. Didnt restart and install though.. I did a recovery though.
No use... the next day I installed the driver in compatibility mode and it connected...However it still drops and i still get limited/identifying problem with it. Bought the laptop to work where I got a Cisco router and I have no issues connecting.
Maybe its a problem with my router at home?
I have a Netgear DGN3500 router at home. - Cant find a driver for win8 though.
Maybe this is the issue?
**Last msg from HP online was that I need to take my laptop back to the place I got it from as they suspect its a hardware issue.
If you could provide me with more help it would be great! :(
