I have the wireless c4580, and it has worked in the past on a wireless network after initial setup a few years ago. I have moved, and just now tried setting it up again. I tried launching the setup assistant through the device manager, however once I get past the point of selecting the printer and choosing to do the wireless setup (with the usb plugged in), the setup assistant crashes every single time. See the error message below. Additionally, even with the printer attached via usb, it does not seem to work. It acts as though it is printing, but nothing prints out and the page is blank. The printer queue hangs with that print job saying 100% complete but never disappearing, also. Thinking it could be an ink issue, I tried checking the ink levels by going to HP Utility, selecting the printer, and then choosing Supplies status. At this point it comes up with "retrieving information", and gets stuck at that point, with the application eventually not responding, forcing me to force quit out of HP Utility, again, doing this every single time as well. This device is simply not working in any way. Please help!
