Hi all, just ask about minor trouble.
after auto update driver wireless LAN by HSA, wireless button not sync with the Hardware, button led amber but wifi already active.
softpaq no : SP81042
Version : 19.60.0.7Pp3
That seems to have resolved the problem. The windows update (1607) installed successfully last night and my wireless networking is also working. Thanks!
Before reformatting (it was windows 8), the bluetooth was still working. But after it was upgraded to windows 10, the bluetooth was no longer working. I tried to check for driver updates of Realtek Bluetooth Adapter 4.0, but it said the driver was still up to date. No matter what, it can't connect to ANY device, can't even detect open bluetooth devices. How to fix this?
Hi,
You installed a new wireless card which is not supported from HP for the seriesL
What is the other laptop ? You have to go to its supported page to download Bluetooth software and driver and HOPE your HP accept it.
Or try
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp74501-75000/sp74543.exe
Regards.
Hi,
I can't find its full specs on its support page
Are you sure it is Realtek ?
(a) If yes, please download and install:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp72501-73000/sp72552.exe
(b) If no, please do to device manager to see what is the wireless card ?
Regards.
Please anytime i connect my system to a wireless network,it shows me limited always...and i'm using a WINDOWS 8.1 with media center...and also i need a product key for my windows..please
Thank you for the info
Hi
It's great to hear from you again. I appreciate your efforts for trying out the steps.
As you mentioned the issue still persists after trying out the steps.
Try the steps recommended below.
Manually change network settings
Manually changing the network settings can resolve wireless connection issues. Create a restore point in Windows, and then manually change the network settings.
Using the search box on the taskbar, search for and open Create a restore point.
The System Properties window displays.
Click Create.
Type a name for the restore point, and then click Create.
Windows creates the restore point.
Using the search box on the taskbar, search for Command Prompt. In the results list, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator.
If a User Account Control screen displays asking if you want to allow the app to make changes to your computer, click Yes.
Type the following commands one at a time, pressing Enter after each one.
netsh int tcp set heuristics disabled
netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled
netsh int tcp set global rss=enabled
To open the TCP Global Settings, type netsh int tcp show global in Command Prompt and then press Enter.
Make sure all settings are disabled except Receive-Side Scaling State.
Close Command Prompt, reboot the system and then try to connect to the Internet.
If the issue still persists try uninstalling the wireless drivers from device manager and install the latest drivers using HP support assistant.
Note: Before uninstalling the wireless drivers make sure you connect the ethernet cable to your PC and then uninstall the drivers.
Refer this article to know more information about using HP support assistant.
Let me know if this works!
Have a great day! :-)

Downgraded from Windows 10 to 8.1, did a clean install. I am aware I deleted recovery partition which was a grave mistake in my part.
I've searched for the drivers everywhere but even the official HP website is unable to help me because of it not having "Windows 8.1" on the drop down list of OSs for the drivers.
I've downloaded HP Support Assistant and it can't seem to recognize that I am missing my WiFi driver.
Here are the list of drivers missing from my laptop and corresponding hardware IDs:

Also I've just noticed that my ethernet keeps failing every one minute or so. As in, I see the network connect and disconnect a lot.
IF somewhat this doesn't get fixed, please offer alternatives!
You're very welcome.
You're very welcome.
Hi:
That wasn't a good idea because Intel and Microsoft refuse to support any PC with the Kaby Lake chipset and 7th gen core processor, like your model, for any other operating system except W10.
Intel did not develop any graphics drivers, so the graphics won't work correctly, even if you install the rest of the drivers you posted.
So, you may as well reinstall W10.
I can give you all the drivers you posted but there is no point in doing so since the graphics won't work.
DV6000 would have been a Vista machine and you should have a Vista sticker on the bottom of the laptop. There is no record anywhere of your original Vista Key Code. If you have Windows 8.1 on it the laptop was upgraded at some point. You can recover the Key Code from the registry with Magical Jelly Bean:
http://www.snapfiles.com/get/keyfinder.html
As for the wifi card it may need to be replaced or it may be an older card that does not have Windows 8.1 support. Need your full model number to tell much and if possible the type of wifi chip (Broadcom, Atheros?)
We cannot provide you a product for your Windows install but as for the wireless have you tried updating the Wireless Drivers? Are you running the factory installation of Windows on your computer? if you laptop is not running the version of Windows in this case Home then Windows will not activate on its own.
DON'T BUY HP!
My HP iPaq PDA has long since died but I have the wireless keyboard (folding type) that seems to be ok. The only marking on the unit is HP iPaq and Bluetooth TM. So I guess it is regular Bluetooth.
Is this keyboard capable of pairing with an iPad or iPhone ? I tried but Bluetooth did not pair.
Many thanks
Robin
