I’m just wondering if anyone has a fix for this? This HP Laptop is JUNK! I read countless reports of this issue. I did see and HP rep say it was a conflict with the Bluetooth. Why do I not see this problem with other laptops then? Nice way to blow off the issue. Y’all need to fix this crap.

Hi there,

In order to get help you have to describe what the problem is. What conflict? Laptop model and OS? There is not enough information in the post to help you.

Hi,

The info you provide is not very much "no e mails arriving on new laptop"

So you have new laptop. Are you able to go on to internet? If you go to the login page online in your Browser on web page of  the email provider you have and insert the password, are you able to see your emails.

Where are you looking for your emails. Do you have a Microsoft account and you do not see emails? Are you using Outlook or the mail app? Have you configured these apps?

What i mean basically you have to use some more words to describe the problem.

Let me know,

David

I'm the Riddle_Decipher & I'm writing on behalf of my colleague , as the tech is out for the day, that said, I have reviewed your concern and the entire conversation, did some research and here's what I recommend:

Go to start, open Control Panel then open Power Options; now you have to click onChange plan settings right in front of "Balanced (recommended)" - below " Plans shown on the battery meter -  after that click on Change advanced power settings now all you need is to find (Wireless Adapter Settings => Power Saving Mode => On battery) and change On battery to Maximum Performance. That's all.

To finish hit the "OK" button.

Keep us posted,

(We shall troubleshoot as a team, fight till the end and emerge - "victorious")

Hi:

These should be the wifi and bluetooth drivers you need.

Realtek RTL8723BE/RTL8188EE wireless LAN Controller

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp82501-83000/sp82801.exe

Realtek Bluetooth

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp79501-80000/sp79675.exe

Note:  if you have a Realtek RTL8723DE wifi adapter, that will not work in W7 unless you remove the card and mask a couple of pins.  See this discussion below...

(Salve - That's the extent of my Italian).

Thank you for being a part of HP Forums,

It'll be an honor to guide you through the steps needed to identify your concern and/or address your query.

We have a few steps that should help resolve this issue, although, just to ensure I'm on the same page:

  • Does the device work fine via an ethernet connection (wired)?
  • When was the last time it worked?

Meanwhile, try the below steps:

1. Press Win+X (Windows logo key and X key) at the same time.
2. Click Command Prompt (Admin) in the pop-up menu.

3. If the User Account Control dialog box appears, Click Yes to confirm that the action it displays is what you want.

4. In Command Prompt, type ipconfig /release and hit Enter.

5) Then type ipconfig /renew and hit Enter.

6) Type Exit and hit Enter.

If the issue persists, try the below steps:

1) Open Command Prompt as an administrator.

2) When Command Prompt opens, type netsh winsock reset and hit Enter.

3)  Then type netsh int ip reset and hit Enter.

4) Restart your computer and see if the problem resolves.

If the problem persists after you restart the computer, check and ensure the Wired Autoconfig service and the WLAN autoconfig service are running and their Startup type is set Automatically. Follow the steps below:

1) On your keyboard, press the Win+R (Windows logo key and R key) at the same time to invoke the run box.

2) Type services.msc and click the OK button.

3) Double-click on Wired Autoconfig to open the Properties window.

4) Ensure the Startup type is Automatic and the Service status is Running. After you change the settings, click the Apply button.

5) Double-click on WLAN AutoConfig.

6) Ensure the Startup type is Automatic and the Service status is Running. After you change the settings, click the Apply button.

7) Check to see if the problem is resolved.

Keep me posted, as I (Or a trusted colleague) shall follow-up on this case to ensure the concern has been addressed,

And your device is up and running again, only in case you don't get back to us, first!

That said, If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons,

That'll help us, and others see that we've got the answers!

Good Luck.

,

Thank you for showing your interest in HP Support Forums. It is a great place to find the help you need, from other users, HP experts, and other support personnel. I see from your post that you are having issues related to HP notebook. Don't worry we'll work together to help you find a solution.

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:

Have you recently made any software or hardware changes on the PC before the issue started?

Does this happen while connecting through battery or while using through AC adapter? If so, please go through this support link.

Do you get any blue screen errors when the internet disconnects and the computer crashes?

Did you recently update the windows or BIOS? (please do, if you haven't as it could solve the issue).

In the meantime, let's try these steps here:

Perform a Hard reset on the notebook

Many startup errors and other problems can be resolved by decreasing the amount of power stored in hardware components. Decreasing stored power is sometimes referred to as a "Hard Reset". Use the following steps to perform a hard reset on a computer:

1. If Windows is open, click Start and then Shutdown.

If Windows is not open and the computer has power, press and hold the power button on the computer until the computer shuts off.

2. With the power off, disconnect the power cord from the back of the computer.

3. With the power off and the power cord disconnected, press the power button on the computer for 5 seconds. The power light indicator on or near the power button might turn on briefly but then go out.

4. Reconnect the power cord and turn on the power.

Let's try to check the power settings: In Device Manager, right click the wireless adapter and choose Properties. In the window that opens click on Power Management tab. Uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power", Click on OK. Now check the connection.

Next thing, I would suggest here is to uninstall the wireless drivers from device manager:

Right-Click on start button> click device manager> Network adapters>then select the wireless drivers and right-click on it and uninstall the Wifi drivers.

Then restart the computer and check if you are able to go online.

I would suggest you go ahead and update the Bios, Chipset and Wireless card drivers on your PC from our HP support website, using this link.

Also, download and install HP support assistant on your PC. It should automatically download and install the latest updates and drivers for your PC.

Refer this link to know how to use HP support assistant.

Once done, restart the computer.

If the issue persists, I would suggest here is to Run a test on the wireless card from F2(Please capture the failure ID for further assistance).

Could you please respond to this post with the details and with the results of the troubleshooting as this will help me in further assisting you.

Eagerly waiting for your response!

that said, If the information I've provided was helpful,

give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons,

that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Good Luck.

Welcome to HP Support Forums. A really great platform for posting all your questions and finding solutions.

I would like to help

Do you have other devices connected to the same network

Please restart your Router, computer and perform a printer reset

(1) Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
(2) Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
(3) With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
(4) Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
(5) Wait at least 60 seconds.
(6) Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.
(7) Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
(8) Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.

The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.
Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed

Reset the Printer Network back to default settings

1. From the printer control panel, touch Setup .

2. Touch Network Setup.

3. Touch Restore Network Settings.

4. A message appears stating that the network defaults will be restored. Touch Yes.

5. Print the network configuration page and verify that the network settings have been reset.

Then run the wireless setup wizard

1. From the printer control panel, touch Setup .

2. Touch Network Setup.

3. Touch Wireless Settings.

4. Touch Wireless Setup Wizard .

5. Follow the display instructions to complete the setup.

Keep me posted how it goes

Slow page loading Chrome

Hi All,

I’m experiencing issues with web page loading. I consistently have web pages take too long to load and receive an error. Of course, right now I am trying to get it to happen and it won’t but basically what happens is I perform a web search (Google Chrome) and quickly obtain results. I will click the link and the web page takes quite a long time to load or doesn’t load at all and I receive a took too long to load web page message. The weird thing is that if I click on the wifi icon at the bottom of the screen and click properties on the wifi network I am using the web page will load almost immediately. This works 90% of the time. I’ve tried clearing my DNS cashe, reinstalling Chrome, and clearing all of the cashed data from Chrome.

I’ve looked all over for a solution to this but can’t find anything discussing a related problem. I was hoping someone here could help me.

Thanks in advance for your help.
